Director Paul Schrader and screenwriter Noah Stollman's adaptation of author Yoram Kaniuk's Adam Resurrected never quite reaches the dramatic heights it seeks to attain, but this painful drama about a recovering holocaust victim still deserves a viewing nonetheless.
