The 95th Academy Awards ceremonies will be broadcast live from the Dolby® Theater with Jimmy Kimmel hosting the show for the third time. Honorary Oscars will be given to Diane Warren, Euzhan Palcy and Peter Weir  while Michael J. Fox  will receive the Hersholt Humanitarian.There was no shortage of surprises including the two films receiving the most nominations–Everything Everywhere All at Once with 11, followed by All Quiet on the Western Front with 10.  Other multiple nominees included The Banshees of Inisherin (8), Elvis (8), and The Fabelmans and Top Gun: Maverick both received 7. There was no shortage of big budget extravaganzas, but only the second comings of Avatar and Top Gun received Best Picture nominations. This will be Cate Blanchett’s eighth Oscar nomination—she has won twice—although her 2022 vehicle Tár was a box office bust.Will Top Gun: Maverick finally get four-time nominee Tom Cruise his first golden statuette? The 95th Academy Award Ceremonies will be carried by the ABC Network beginning at 8:00 pm (EST)/5:00 pm (PST)
