Despicable Me Announced for Blu-ray 3D

Universal Studios Home Entertainment has announced they will be bringing the animated hit Despicable Me to Blu-ray Combo Pack (SRP $39.98),  Blu-ray 3D Combo Pack (SRP $49.98) and DVD Combo Pack (SRP $34.98) in time for the Christmas holiday on December 14, 2010. And for a linted time the Blu-ray Combo Pack, Blu-ray 3D and 2-Disc DVD releases will come with three new Minions “mini-movies” available only on these new home video releases.

The Blu-ray 3D Combo Pack, Blu-ray Combo Pack, and 2-Disc DVD releases each come with a digital copy of the film. There will also be a single-disc DVD release without digital copy available. Technical specifications on the Blu-ray 3D release include Blu-ray 3D + Blu-ray + DVD + Digital Copy, a 1.85:1 high definition transfer, English DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1, Dolby Digital 2.0 DVS, French DTS Surround 5.1,  Spanish DTS Surround 5.1, English SDH, French and Spanish subtitles. The Blu-ray Combo pack will include a Blu-ray + DVD + Digital Copy.
