Jackass 3 hits Blu-ray and DVD — No Blu-ray 3D –March 8, 2011

Get ready for some more asinine dares and action as Jackass 3 arrives on Blu-ray and DVD on March 8th, 2011 from Paramount Home Entertainment at a suggested retail price of $19.99 U.S. (Single-Disc DVD), $24.99 U.S. (Limited Edition Two-Disc DVD), and $29.99 U.S. (Blu-ray/DVD combo w/Digital Copy). But if you were hoping to add to your already minuscule Blu-ray 3D collection, forget about it, they’ve gone old school, and included an anaglyphic 3D version of the film and only on the DVD included in the Blu-ray combo pack and as a second disc in the 2-Disc DVD release with 4 free pairs of 3D glasses instead, which begs the question, why? Why not, at the very least, include both 3D versions in the Blu-ray combo? Oh, well, missing Jackass 3 in stereoscopic 3D is certainly not keeping us up at night. See the press release below for full details.
