LG has come up with a new network-capable 3D Blu-ray/DVD player that offers some cool features such as a Wii-style “magic remote,” NFC technology, and 4K upscaling, but which come at an added cost.
LG comes up with a smart compact 3D Blu-ray Player, the BP620, that delivers excellent overall performance at a very reasonable price. With built-in WiFi and wired internet available, it will also stream most of the good stuff out there.
The BD590 Blu-ray player from LG bristles with thoughtfully designed, user friendly features, and offers high quality Blu-ray playback and a 250 gigabyte HDD for use as a media library. It lacks 3D support and multi-channel analog outputs but gives up precious little ground otherwise and is worth a look.
