Acutrack, Inc., one of the leaders in On Demand CD, DVD and Blu-ray production, has announced that is has been chosen by Blue Hawaiian Helicopters to author and produce its first Blu-ray title, entitled, Visions of Hawaii. Since October 2008, Acutrack has been leading the media industry with a comprehensive Blu-ray supply chain solution that includes authoring, replication and worldwide distribution services.

Asheesh Barman, Executive VP who manages the DVD authoring and digital media divisions of Acutrack says, “We are honored by the opportunity awarded to us by Blue Hawaiian. The footage that they have shot of the Hawaiian Islands with their helicopters is simply magnificent and only Blu-ray could do it justice.”

“We really wanted the grand footage of this film to be showcased in the best possible way to our audience,” added Dave Chevalier, Blue Hawaiian CEO. “Having authored and manufactured several Blu-ray titles for the gaming and entertainment industries, Acutrack brings the right mix of Blu-ray authoring and Blu-ray production experience that we needed for our first Blu-ray title. The Blu-ray format also provided us the built in AACS copy protection that we needed to protect our video footage.” Low resolution clips of the footage cab be viewed on Blue Hawaiian Helicopter’s website at: www.bluehawaiian.com
