Cyberlink Media Suite 8 Released

Cyberlink today released the latest version of their all-in-one software suite for enjoying photos, HD videos, music and movies, and burning data on the PC, Media Suite 8. This latest version of the software package has been rebranded from DVD suite to Media Suite and features a host of new and updated features focusing on a wide range of media.

Media Suite 8 expands options for organizing photos, editing audio and converting videos for mobile devices. It adds an updated user interface that makes its numerous features easier to access, with 39 tasks listed for creating, playing, organizing and sharing multimedia content via the PC, as well as burning data.

Of course, Cyberlink Media Suite 8 offers HD video features, support for DVD up-scaling, Blu-ray Disc and DVD playback, authoring of videos and slideshows to Blu-ray Discs, AVCHD discs and DVDs, editing of HD videos, and burning and archiving data securely with password protection to Blu-ray Discs and DVDs.

The software is available today and sells for an SRP of $129.95 for Media Suite Ultra, which offers the entire host of features. There are also Pro ($89.95) and Centra ($79.95) versions that drop the Blu-ray movie playback and Blu-ray Disc burning capabilities.
