Queen of Bops Kim Petras is Back At it With “All I Do is Cry”

Kim Petras — All I Do is Cry

Hot on the heels of releasing her infectious dance single — and arguably her best track to date — “Sweet Spot,” Queen of Bops Kim Petras is back at it with a masterpiece ballad of heartbreak and self-doubt. “All I Do Is Cry” starts out similarly to “Blow it All” with a heavily-treated arpeggiated guitar track before the beats drop and Petras croons “I need you more than air…” She eventually goes on, “what’s it gonna take to feel alive again” If her Era 1 fave “Heart to Break” was the joyous leap of faith, then “All I Do is Cry” is the heart laid bare aftermath. She has cast aside some of the more confident posturing of her recent tracks and decided to show some vulnerability as well as — sorry fans — drop her signature “woo-ah.”
