On March 27, 2022, the 94th Academy Awards ceremonies will be broadcast live from the Dolby® Theater and will have a yet-to-be-announced host. Honorary Oscars will be given to Elaine May, Samuel L. Jackson, and Liv Ullmann while Danny Glover will receive the Hersholt Humanitarian award for his work with UNICEF. As for the nominees, “The Power of the Dog” led the field with 12 nominations, followed by “Dune” with 10, “Belfast” and “West Side Story” with 7 each, and “King Richard” with 6.  The audiences both in the theater and at home will be treated to a more traditional evening than has been the case for the two previous award shows.  Given the star power that will be on display, it could be anybody’s night in La La Land when the envelopes are finally opened, the golden statuettes are handed out, and the thank-you speeches begin to rain down upon us.

The 94th Academy Awards Ceremonies will be carried by the ABC Network beginning at 8:00 pm (EST)/5:00 pm (PST)
